Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry will not play in Wednesday's Game 5 contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves as he continues to recover from a strained hamstring, the team announced on Tuesday afternoon.

"The series changed with Steph’s injury,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said after Game 4. "Steph’s a guy who breaks the defense down for us and creates that offensive flow. I think the result is that shots are more difficult for every single guy.”

Stephen Curry will miss Game 5 of the second round series between the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves with the hamstring strain that has kept him out since Game 1, the team announced Tuesday. That means Golden State, trailing in the series 3-1, will face elimination without their best player on Wednesday.
