Former Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson was arrested Sunday morning in Texas and booked into jail on suspicion of DWI and unlawfully carrying a weapon.

Former NFL superstar Adrian Peterson was arrested in Texas over the weekend on charges of unlawful carrying of a weapon and driving while intoxicated.

Further reporting on Sunday’s arrest by local news outlet KHOU 11 stated that “the investigation is still active.”
