The SUV was still in drive and investigators believe someone shot him as he drove through the parking lot, Arlington police said in a news release.

Police were called just after 11 p.m. to reports of gunfire in the 2100 block of Wilcrest Drive, near East Pioneer Parkway. When officers arrived, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds slumped over inside an SUV, according to a news release.

A 27-year-old man was shot to death late on Sunday, Oct. 13, as he was driving a sport utility vehicle through the parking lot of an Arlington apartment complex, police said. The man was fired upon about 11 p.m. in the 2100 block of Wilcrest Drive, off Texas 303 near Sherry Street, Arlington police said.
