Prime Minister Narendra Modi called BJP MPs Pratap Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput to inquire about their health after they sustained head injuries in parliament premises after an alleged scuffle between the opposition and ruling alliance.

BJP leader Nishikant Dubey alleged Gandhi pushed an aged parliamentarian and accused the Congress leader of resorting to gundagardi (rowdy behavior). However, Gandhi denied the allegations, saying he was blocked and pushed by BJP MPs while trying to enter Parliament.

Parliament on Thursday turned into a battleground after ruing BJP MPs and Opposition Congress members clashed at the entry gate of the House during a protest on the Ambedkar row.
