A severe cold wave has gripped North India, with Delhi being wrapped in a thick blanket of fog. The dense fog has caused zero visibility, disrupting flights and trains. According to officials, 51 trains are running late,

Schools are shut for 15 days, from January 1 to January 15, and will reopen on January 16. Winter vacation started on December 10 for Classes up to 5 and December 16 for Classes 6–12. Schools will reopen on February 28. All schools, both private and government, are closed until January 5, with a possible extension due to extreme cold.

Delhi is experiencing a severe cold wave, with temperature dropping to 9 degrees Celsius on Sunday. Adding to the frigid conditions, brisk winds blowing at 16 km/h have intensified the cold, leaving residents struggling to stay warm.
