CNN reported that the Florida congressman is among Trump's picks to lead FEMA, citing "two people with knowledge of the president-elect's consideration."

Moskowitz’s willingness to work with Trump is a far cry from 2022, when he introduced legislation to change the name of a Miami federal prison to the Donald J. Trump Federal Correctional Institution, calling him “the gravest threat to this country and democracy everywhere.”
