ATLANTA — MARTA said a stampede at a rail station started when a 10-year old girl was startled by an insect. Her screaming steamrolled into a panic that injured nine people. MARTA’s response apparently will be to try to have tighter crowd control and more staff to prevent incidents like the one earlier this week.
