Democrats showed up in reliably red Monmouth County, stumping for their gubernatorial nominee Mikie Sherrill and blasting Donald Trump.

Obama will join Sherrill, who represents New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District and is now running for governor, along with other Democratic leaders at the "Get Out the Vote" rally. Organizers say the event aims to fire up supporters and encourage turnout for Democrats "up and down the ballot."

Her lead is slightly smaller in a co/efficient poll (1 percent) with Sherrill at 48 percent and Ciattarelli at 47 percent. Some 995 voters were surveyed between October 23 and 27. Newsweek has contacted Ciattarelli, via online contact form, to ask its margin of error.
