The New York Mets and Seattle Mariners get set to meet under the lights in the annual MLB Little League Classic in Williamsport on Sunday Night Baseball.

Sunday was a monumental day for one Horseheads native in pro baseball. The annual MLB Little League Classic was held in conjunction with the Little League World Series in Williamsport. At historic Bowman Field,

Bowman Field was already in place prior to the Little League Classic, as it long hosted former minor league team and current MLB Draft League team, the Williamsport Crosscutters. When the Little League Classic was announced, Bowman Field was upgraded with additional seats, new irrigation, and more to accommodate an MLB game.
