Laurie Canter captured a second title on the European tour by beating Pablo Larrazabal and Daniel Brown in a playoff to win the Bahrain Championship.

Larrazabal had a great opportunity to take his tenth success on the circuit, leading with a one-shot advantage after 17 holes, but on the last one with a bogey he conceded the play-off to his two opponents.

Laurie Canter saved his best until last as he beat Pablo Larrazábal and Dan Brown in a play-off to win the 2025 Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship and claim his second DP World Tour title. The Englishman had looked like coming up just short after carding an eagle and a birdie in a flawless 69 to share the clubhouse lead on 14 under.
