The plaintiffs and their lawyers allege that Costco “has systemically cheated customers out of tens – if not hundreds – of millions of dollars."

Customers have filed a nationwide class-action lawsuit accusing Costco of false advertising over its claim the chicken contains no preservatives.

In a statement to Nexstar’s KTLA, Costco said it has “removed statements concerning preservatives from the signs and on‑line presentations.”
