A pedestrian died Friday after being struck by a vehicle, according to the Thomasville Police Department. At 8:45 p.m., Thomasville officers responded to a crash involving a car and a pedestrian at the intersection of Trinity Street and Mason Way.

The pedestrian, 30-year-old Uniqa Robinson, was struck by the vehicle while in the roadway. She was taken to the hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. The driver of the vehicle, 39-year-old Lydia Hendrick, was uninjured and remained at the scene.
