Fans were panicking when multiple Virginia Tech players entered the NCAA transfer portal when it opened two weeks ago. What made it even worse was that over one week later, the Hokies had yet to add anyone via the portal despite hosting numerous players on official visits.

LSU has to replace four starting offensive linemen. Junior tackles Will Campbell and Emery Jones declared for the NFL draft, and senior guards Garrett Dellinger and Miles Frazier exhausted their eligibility. The only returning starter is redshirt freshman DJ Chester, who struggled at times as a first-year center.

LSU football head coach Brian Kelly said his staff are still attacking these areas in the transfer portal with a week left.
