ATLANTA — The Atlanta Police Department is investigating after a man died from a stabbing incident on Monday evening. According to police, officers were called to Grady Memorial Hospital in reference to a person who had been stabbed. Once they arrived, they were notified that the 39-year-old victim was pronounced dead.

Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department’s Aggravated Assault Unit said the incident happened around 12:40 a.m. on Nov. 1 at 367 Edgewood Avenue SE. Zone 6 officers arrived to find a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his left shoulder.
