Coast Guard suspends search for survivors after a panga boat capsizes near Imperial Beach, resulting in four deceased.

Emergency responders found survivors of Friday's incident on the beach and rescued another trapped beneath the vessel, according to a Coast Guard statement. Rescuers later recovered from the water three people who were pronounced dead soon after, the Coast Guard said.

The US Coast Guard said on Saturday that it was still searching for additional people who may have been aboard the panga-style vessel.

Four people were killed and five others were rescued after a boat allegedly carrying undocumented immigrants capsized near a San Diego beach, investigators said.
