When your phone goes missing, you can use Find My Device by visiting the website or downloading the app on another device. Sign in using the same Google account associated with your missing phone.

As long as you have Google’s Find My Device app (which you probably do already), you’re good to go. All of the controls and tracking abilities are found within Google’s app.
