JioHotstar has recently launched in India. Users can now watch content from both Jiocinema and Disney+ Hotstar in one app.

Reliance and Disney have launched JioHotstar, merging JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar content libraries. Existing subscribers of both platforms can retain their plans but must use JioHotstar.

JioHotstar is a redesigned streaming service that combines Disney+ Hotstar and Jiocinema into a one app. The Jiocinema app will urge users to see content on the JioHotstar app, even though the original Disney+ Hotstar has changed its branding.

JioStar has launched JioHotstar by bringing together JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar streaming platforms. The JioStar is a newly formed Joint Venture (JV) by the merger of Viacom18 and Star India.

JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar have merged to create JioHotstar, a new streaming platform offering 3 lakh hours of entertainment and extensive live sports coverage. Existing subscribers of both services will get free access to JioHotstar.
