Severe Weather Back-to-Back tornadoes slam SE Louisiana, Mississippi—3 dead, more damage reported Possible Tornadoes in Kentwood, Covington, and Tylertown as storms tear through the region.

There were more than 121,000 customers without power Saturday in the South, including more than 50,000 without power in Louisiana and over 42,000 in Mississippi.

In Louisiana, severe storms produced high winds and hail, with golf ball-sized hail being reported in New Iberia, Louisiana. Near Greenwood, Louisiana, trees were reportedly snapped from a tornado.

The preliminary survey of what's called the "Kentwood - Darbun, MS" tornado had an initial rating of EF3. On Monday, that rating was increased to EF4.
