This season, the league will take things a step further by placing patches on the jerseys of players who have earned certain individual honors. That includes being named to an All-NBA team, something that LeBron James experienced last season for a record 21st time.
Here is everything to know about the patches that will be featured prominently during Game 1 of the 2025-26 season.

Houston Rockets jersey schedule: NBA, Nike announce 2025-26 gameday uniforms
Via the NBA’s LockerVision update, we now have the details for Houston’s planned jerseys and uniforms for all scheduled games in the 2025-26 season.
Players such as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Evan Mobley will have their respective trophy icons sown above the Nike swoosh on the front of their uniform.
Patches will be worn by all individual award winners, including MVP (Shai Gilgeous-Alexander) and Clutch Player of the Year (Jalen Brunson), as well as team awards such as All-NBA, All-Defensive and All-Rookie.
The 76ers released images of their players wearing the franchise's previous base uniforms, which will be worn at times throughout next season. The black jerseys will honor the 25th anniversary of the Eastern Conference-winning squad, led by Allen Iverson and Defensive Player of the Year Dikembe Mutombo.
