The largest wildfire in Oregon remains under a red flag warning through Aug. 26, meaning it's expected to continue growing in the foreseeable future.

Four homes have been lost to the Flat Fire as it continues to threaten nearly 4,000 homes in Deschutes and Jefferson counties.

The Flat fire in Jefferson and Deschutes counties, which began Thursday and has burned through more than 18,000 acres, is 0% contained as of Saturday afternoon, according to the Oregon State Fire Marshal. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
