Family audiences rejoice! It's time to party with "The Wild Robot," now in theaters nationwide and aglow with that special magic that only comes for a new animated classic that is spectacular in every sense of the word. You'll be hooked from first scene to last.

While it’s still in theaters, as tends to happen with most releases these days, The Wild Robot has also now made it to home streaming for either purchase or rental. Albeit either option is pretty expensive.

Set in 1957, “The Iron Giant” is an anti-war parable that’s also a beautiful story about two outcasts becoming friends. Made with a mix of traditional and computer animation, it has a timeless look that fits with its retro story, and Bird demonstrates some of the boundless imagination he’d later bring to the “Incredibles” movies.
