TACOMA, Wash. — A man was killed in a shooting Sunday evening in South Tacoma, according to police. Officers were called to the 5100 block of South 58th Street around 6:55 p.m. for reports of gunfire, the Tacoma Police Department said.
Officers were dispatched to the shooting at 6:55 p.m. where they found a man who suffered a gunshot wound, according to the Tacoma Police Department in a news release. Police began life-saving measures before Tacoma Fire Department personnel took over. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
