Use a biscuit cutter to cut biscuits and place them in the prepared cast iron skillet. (or lined baking sheet). Try not to twist when when pressing down or lifting the cutter.

Using a small biscuit cutter, small bottle cap or something similar to cut a hole in the center of the biscuit. Set that small bit of dough aside, they make perfect doughnut holes!
