A tech company whose boss was filmed hugging a colleague at a Coldplay concert has said a purported statement from him expressing remorse is fake.

Astronomer CEO Andy Byron—who hid from the jumbotron after he was seen in a close embrace with a woman at a Coldplay concert—has been put on leave at the tech company following the viral video.

Cabot and Byron were captured in a second video clip smooching and engaging in PDA prior to their viral jumbotron moment.
