Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield was injured on a play near the end of the third quarter against the New Orleans Saints. Mayfield scrambled for eight yards on the play and was surrounded by several Saints defenders before being brought down hard by Saints defensive tackle Bryan Bresee and walking off the field gingerly.

Baker Mayfield, who was in the injury tent for a while, is back out at QB for the Bucs. Mayfield was 22 of 34 for 299 yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions, and 29 rushing yards when he got hurt. The Bucs led 31-27. Kyle Trask is the Bucs backup quarterback.
