Cleveland guard Donovan Mitchell grabbed a shovel and was one of the dignitaries who took part in a groundbreaking ceremony for the Cavaliers’ new, state-of-the-art downtown training facility scheduled to open in 2027.

At a groundbreaking Monday, the Cavs and the Clinic announced that they've extended their partnership for 25 years.

Fifty-five years later, Bibb joined a delegation of officials from the city, county, Cleveland Clinic and the Cleveland Cavaliers to officially break ground on the 210,000-square-foot Cleveland Clinic Global Peak Performance Center, the first vertical development for Bedrock’s $3.5 billion Cuyahoga Riverfront Master Plan.
