The NHTSA issued a recall notification for 21,069 Dodge Hornet and Alfa Romeo Tonale vehicles over a brake pedal failure.

Over 20,000 units of the Stellantis-made compact crossovers are affected by this recall, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says.

If that happens, Stellantis is advising 21,000 owners of the two SUVs to use the E-Brake to "bring the vehicle to a controlled stop"
