Former India seamer Paras Mhambrey has been appointed Mumbai Indians' bowling coach ahead of IPL 2025. Mhambrey, who had served as MI's assistant coach previously, will work alongside current bowling coach Lasith Malinga under newly appointed head coach Mahela Jayawardene.

Former Team India and Mumbai Indians bowling coach, Paras Mhmbrey has returned to the franchise as its coach. Mhambrey worked with MI for many years before he left his position to work with the BCCI's teams.

Mumbai Indians on Monday brought Jayawardene back into the fold as their head coach, who had guided them to three titles between 2017-2022.

Mhambrey represented Mumbai in domestic cricket and took part in 91 first-class matches, picking up 284 wickets and 83 List-A matches with 111 wickets.

Mahela Jayawardene has made his return to Mumbai Indians as their head coach. The Sri Lankan legend coached MI from IPL 2017 to 2022 before becoming the head of all the franchises owned by the MI group.

Paras Mhambrey, who was associated with the Mumbai Indians for four years previously, has been appointed the bowling coach for the franchise ahead of IPL 2025 alongside Lasith Malinga. Mhambrey was part of Rahul Dravid's coaching staff with the Indian team from 2021 until T20 World Cup 2024.
