After signing with the Las Vegas Raiders earlier this week, Jamal Adams will be changing positions and switching from safety to WILL linebacker, coach Pete Carroll said Friday. Adams, 29, was signed by the Raiders on Tuesday after being a free agent for much of the offseason leading into training camp.

By joining the Raiders, Adams reunites with Pete Carroll, whom he played under with the Seahawks from 2020-2023. Injuries limited him to just 34 games in four seasons. Adams hasn't played a full season since 2018, his second season with the Jets.
