Newsmax on Monday agreed to pay $67 million to Dominion Voting Systems in a defamation suit against the conservative media company over 2020 election coverage.

Egregious lies about the 2020 presidential election are going to cost Newsmax $67 million. To avert a high-stakes trial, the right-wing cable channel has agreed to pay Dominion Voting Systems $27 million this month and another $40 million in the next two years.

Newsmax will pay $67 million to settle a lawsuit accusing it of defaming the voting equipment company Dominion Voting Systems over its role in the 2020 election.
