The New York Jets have made their first deal ahead of the 2025 NFL trade deadline. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Jets (1-7) have traded cornerback Michael Carter II and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Philadelphia Eagles (6-2) for wide receiver John Metchie and a 2027 Round 6 selection: Carter was a fifth-round pick of the Jets in 2021.
