Baristas in some of Starbucks' biggest markets, including right here in Seattle, are expanding their strikes after members of Starbucks Workers United say the company has not honored negotiations set in place earlier this year.

Unionized Starbucks employees in Seattle plan to hit the picket line Friday in a labor action expected to continue through Christmas Eve.

The walkouts in Los Angeles, Chicago and Seattle come after talks between the company and the workers’ union failed to produce an agreement on raises.
