Half the time, they don't have phones. Our folks don't have phones to keep up with the weather. We want to make sure we're saving lives at all costs."

The City of Gonzales has set up a warming center due to winter weather. The warming center will open at 4 p.m. on Monday, January 20, and is at the Gonzales Civic Center, which is located at 219 S. Irma Boulevard in Gonzales.
