Registered voters in Washington state are beginning to get their ballots in the mail for the 2025 General Election, and voting is underway. The November general election is coming up on Nov. 4, and county election offices are sending out ballots to Washingtonians who have registered to vote.

Nine candidates are running for four member-at-large seats on the South Washington County school board in November’. The candidates are: Elizabeth Bockman, Katie Schwartz, Travis

Registration online and by mail must be received by Oct. 27 to be able to vote in the election. You can also register to vote in-person at the Whatcom County Auditor’s Office until 8 p.m. on Election Day. The office warned that registration lines will likely be long during election week.

General Election Day is November 4, and King County Elections (KCE) has officially mailed out more than 1.4 million ballots to registered voters across the county.

The South Washington County school district covers all or parts of Cottage Grove, Newport, St. Paul Park, Woodbury, Afton, Denmark and Grey Cloud Island Townships.
