Australia and Sri Lanka will face off in the second and the final ODI of the AUS vs SL series and also the last match of Australia’s tour to Sri Lanka. After facing a comprehensive 0-2 defeat in the Tests,

The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) named a 16-man squad for the upcoming two-match ODI series against Australia. The squad is almost similar to the one that played the ODI series in New Zealand last month, with the exception of seam-bowling all-rounder Chamindu Wickramasinghe, who has been left out.

It was Sri Lanka skipper who won the toss and chose to bat first in the second ODI of the two-match series in Colombo on Friday, February 14. Despite the early dismissal of Pathum Nissanka, wicketkeeper Kusal Mendis kept the side in the game with a solid century scoring 101 off 115 deliveries.
