Fall colors had a later start in the mid-Hudson Valley this year. Here's how the weather has played a role in the foliage timeline.

The recent cold snap has us all in the fall spirit. Not only are the temperatures changing, so are the leaves on the trees. Before we get to the timeline of the fall foliage in the CSRA,

North of the Lehigh Valley, in Carbon and Monroe counties, leaves are also experiencing best color, according to the DCNR. All species are at peak color, and oak color has recently developed in Monroe County, the report states. Red maples, black gum and sweet birch are at full color in Carbon County, the DCNR said.
