The United Nations' peacekeeping force in Lebanon has warned Israel for the fourth time in as many days against "further flagrant violation of international law."

Upto forty nations that contribute to the UN peacekeeping force in Lebanon have declared they "strongly condemn recent attacks" on peacekeepers by Israeli forces. In a joint statement released on social media platform X on Saturday,

Over the past week, the UN has said that the Israeli military has fired on its peacekeepers, forcibly entered its base, stopped logistics and injured more than a dozen of its troops in southern Lebanon.

The peacekeepers belong to the U.N. Interim Force in Lebanon, or UNIFIL, an international interim force that has been stationed along the Lebanon-Israel border to ensure stability and security for more than 46 years.
