With 18 days until Election Day, the presidential candidates and their surrogates are hitting battleground states that have begun early voting, as well as sitting down for interviews with targeted audiences.

Former first lady Michelle Obama‘s calendar is filling up with campaign events for Vice President Kamala Harris as she prepares to make her campaign debut next week in Michigan. While former President Barack Obama has become increasingly involved in the Harris campaign,

Obama will join Harris for a get-out-the-vote event somewhere in Michigan on Oct. 26, according to a senior Harris campaign official who requested anonymity to discuss the event. Oct. 26 is a key date in Michigan because it marks the opening day of statewide early in-person voting.

The former First Lady's stop in Michigan would come less than a week after her husband, former President Barack Obama, plans to visit the state.
