Health network hires Detroit Police Chief James White as CEO
DETROIT -- Detroit Police Chief James White will be leaving the department as he was hired as the new CEO of the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network Wednesday, according to Fox 2 Detroit. White has served as chief since August 2021 when he took over for former chief Craig James.

White was selected in a unanimous vote by the board of the Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network to lead the organization. He replaces Eric Doeh in the role, who resigned in June after accepting a job as the Michigan market CEO and plan president for insurance giant Humana Inc.
