The director of the 2004 science fiction film “I, Robot” has accused Elon Musk of stealing the movie’s designs for use in Tesla’s robots and vehicles. At a presentation Thursday Tesla called “We, Robot”,

The event, titled “We, Robot,” drew inspiration from the 2004 film “I, Robot,” starring Will Smith, which portrays a world where advanced robots turn on humans. The similarities between the event and the movie extend beyond the name. The autonomous vehicles and Optimus bore a striking resemblance to the technology depicted in the film.

The products unveiled at Tesla's "We, Robot" event are eerily reminiscent of those featured in the 2004 dystopian sci-fi film.

Recently, at Tesla's big Cybercab Robotaxi presentation, the multi-billionaire revealed his new autonomous Tesla Cybercab, which features two wing doors with no steering wheel or pedals. He also showcased several humanoid Optimus robots, which he said would one day be able to do menial tasks, as well as offer friendship.
