The first week of Big 12 action is officially in the books, and the league looks as good as advertised. Each Monday, we'll release a new batch of power rankings and provide a TV guide for that week's Big 12 games.

Several Big 12 teams were thrust into the fire throughout nonconference play, facing some of the nation's finest. From the Gonzaga Bulldogs of misty Spokane to the Florida Gators of sweltering Gainesville, the Big 12 has gone near and far to prove its superiority over other collections of talent.

Tennessee (14-0, 1-0 SEC) opened Southeastern Conference play last week. The Vols were victorious in their SEC opener against Arkansas, 76-52, at Food City Center. Tennessee is the only undefeated team remaining in Division I men's basketball.

The Wolves once again find themselves on the outside looking in at our Top 12. Things remain static at the top of the rankings, but there’s been plenty of shuffling with Western Conference teams in the mid-to-bottom tiers.
