Border 2 Fire initially started 1:58 p.m. Jan. 23 in San Diego County. After being active for three days, it has burned 6,625 acres. A fire crew of 2,413 effectively contained 10% of the fire by Sunday morning. The blaze's cause remains under investigation.

Hundreds of firefighters worked to contain the Border 2 Fire after it ignited and quickly grew to thousands of acres from Jan. 23-24.
