Former Detroit Tigers pitcher Joe Coleman died Wednesday morning, his son Casey Coleman confirmed earlier this week. Coleman was 78 when he died in his sleep in Jamestown, Tennessee.

The Detroit Tigers are going to have to wait quite a bit longer than usual to make their first pick in the 2025 MLB Draft. After a run to the postseason last year, the Tigers will make their first selection at No. 24, the first time since 2015 they’ve not picked in the top-20.
