Adobe is kicking off its annual Adobe Max conference today with the launch of new AI-powered features across its Creative Cloud apps. New AI features for Photoshop, like automatic background distraction removal and a more powerful Firefly generative AI model,

In a blog post by Photoshop product manager Pam Clark, the company detailed more features for the graphics editing platform, which use Adobe's generative AI model, Firefly. Highlights include a "Distraction Removal" tool within the existing "Remove" tool added last year, which lets you circle objects or people in the background to get rid of them.

This year’s Adobe Max event has seen the company greatly expand its AI offerings, with loads of new tools hitting Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign - all powered by Firefly.

While Adobe's annual MAX conference gives the company a chance to unveil its latest features, it also lets the brand demonstrate some of its more weird and wonderful ideas. 'Sneaks' sees Adobe engineers take to the stage to share ideas that may or may not see the light of day,
