Judge Tanya Chutkan unsealed nearly 2,000 pages of evidence in the former president's election fraud case on Friday despite impassioned pleading from Trump's lawyers that it could damage his presidential campaign.

The former president’s legal team had objected to any release of material, saying it would amount to election interference.

The judge overseeing Donald Trump’s 2020 election interference case made public Friday a heavily redacted trove of documents that provide a small glimpse into the evidence prosecutors will present if the case ever goes to trial.
