HIGH POINT, N.C. — Police confirmed that there was an officer-involved shooting at the McDonald's on Mall Loop Road near Eastchester Drive in High Point on Thursday. High Point Police Chief Curtis Cheeks III said a 50-year-old has died after the shooting happened around 11 a.m.
