Justin Merriman/Bloomberg via The European Union is considering levying fines against Elon Musk over his unwillingness to cooperate with an investigation into X’s moderation and advertising policies.

EU regulators would not only factor in X's revenue when tallying a financial penalty, but also the revenue of Musk's other companies like SpaceX, Neuralink, xAI and Boring Company. According to Bloomberg 's report, Tesla's revenue would not be factored into the equation as it is a publicly traded company and not entirely controlled by Musk.

The European Union has reportedly warned X that it could use the revenue of several companies owned by Elon Musk to calculate fines levied against the platform for violating social media laws. European regulators may take the annual revenues of Musk’s other companies — including SpaceX,

Elon Musk’s SpaceX has accused a California regulator of political discrimination after it voted to block the rocket company from conducting more launches on the state’s central coast.

The move comes after California Coastal Commission members raised concerns about Musk’s political rhetoric at a hearing last week.
