Leader of Opposition (LoP) and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi behaved like a “bouncer” during Thursday's Parliament scuffle between members of the ruling BJP and opposition INDIA bloc MPs, Union minister Giriraj Singh said on Sunday.

BJP MPs Pratap Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput were shifted out of ICU and admitted to a room at Delhi's RML hospital after improvement in their condition, doctors said. The MPs had alleged that Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi pushed them during BJP and Congress protests on the Parliament complex on Thursday.

A protest in the Parliament over the Ambedkar issue took a violent turn with serious allegations of physical assault on Rahul Gandhi after two senior BJP MPs were seriously injured in the scuffle. Union Minister Giriraj Singh has now revealed shocking allegations on the Congress leaders,

The Congress complaint against BJP MPs following the scuffle has also been entrusted to the Crime Branch – in its complaint, the party said BJP MPs had pushed Congress president and Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge to the ground and caused injuries to him.

The Delhi police registered an FIR against Rahul Gandhi accusing him of "physical assault and incitement" during a scuffle inside the Parliament premises.
