We spent the night at Baker City at the Geiser Grand Hotel. Geiser Grand: The Geiser Grand is a historic hotel and purported to be haunted.

Jan 20, 2008 · While in Yellowstone one of our childrens' favorite no cost activities was climbing in the massive rocks just outside of the Mammoth Village. While at Mammoth leave the park and go into Gardiner for a burger at Helen's. This old fashioned dive has the biggest and best burgers in the area. There is so much to do and see in Yellowstone.

Jun 24, 2009 · Trying to put together a workable 16 day road trip in August to Yellowstone and other stops along the way. Right now I am looking at leaving the Detroit area and heading to South Dakota via HWY 90. We want to make stops in Badlands, Black Hills, and at Mt. Rushmore for sure. Then on into Yellowstone and the Tetons.

Nov 26, 2013 · That gives us 6 days of driving, 1 day for Rushmore, and 4 days at Yellowstone. But I could push it to 12 or 13 days if I needed to to get the most of the trip. For example, looks like we could divide it into 3 days. About 8 hours into Wisconsin, another 8 hours to Rushmore, then 8 more to Yellowstone.
