Where Unity really pushes the bar, I think - and particularly compared to Black Flag - is in its story. Black Flag's story was entertaining, particularly Edward's brutal loyalty to only himself and a few others, in his relentless quest for gold and glory, with an unfortunately predictable character transformation towards the end.
